✨Embark on a journey of self-discovery and creativity with our Meditation Mala Making Workshop with Josie.

✨Begin your experience with a soul-nourishing guided meditation, opening our hearts to create with compassion and connect with your intentions, then immerse yourself in our candle ritual, an empowering experience symbolizing the illumination of your inner light. You will then select your gemstone beads, charms, tassels, etc., and craft a totally unique, intention filled mala to assist you in your meditation practice. We'll close the night with a beautiful blessing, to infuse your mala with Reiki energy and lots of good juju.

✨Malas are made up of 108 beads, each imbued with potent energies and sacred meaning, which can enhance your intentional practice by adding a tangible and engaging element, allowing the mind to focus as you pass each bead through your fingers and recite your mantra or affirmation. When you’re not actively meditating with your beads, you can wear them around your neck or wrist as a reminder of your intentions. More than just jewelry, they’re tools for mindfulness, grounding and manifestation.

✨Creating a mala bead necklace is a form of meditation, binding you to both your intentions and the beads. As you string each bead you will think about your goals and aspirations, infusing each bead with your love, light, and pure intentions. (There is no specific spiritual affiliation required to reap the rewards of using a mala.)

✨First you'll select which color rosewood beads you'll be using as the base of your mala, then you'll peruse the "bead buffet" for everything else you need to create your mala - an extensive selection of semi-precious, wood, glass, and metal beads, along with charms, pendants, and tassels. So much to choose from! We will be stringing the beads on very durable stretchy cord. (Feel free to bring your own special pendant or charm to add to your piece!)

✨You'll discover the healing properties of the crystals you chose, as each one holds meaning, creating a powerful symbol of your commitment to attracting what you seek into your life. Once you finish your mala, it will serve as a reminder of the intentions you set during the process of making it and will forever be special to you or the person you gift it to.

✨Whether you're seeking relaxation, inspiration, or simply a creative outlet, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to nurture both your mind and your spirit. This workshop is open to participants of all levels of both crafters and meditators, new or experienced.

✨We’re opening the doors at 6, and the workshop starts at 7. Spend that hour indulging yourself in the spa’s other holistic offerings, which are shown in the "Discussion" section of our Facebook event. Don't have Facebook? I'll give you a hint...chair massage, Reiki, foot detox, and more! 

✨Event is BYOB + snacks, so bring whatever you need to help make this event a festive night for you and your friends!

✨We are only selling 14 tickets to this event, so don’t wait too long - our last event here sold out in less than a week!

Cancellations...Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the event will receive a 50% credit to be used for any future event that features tickets sold on Josie's website. (Credit expires 6 months from issue date.) Cancellations made less than 14 calendar days before the event will receive a mala, made by Josie, and mailed to you in 1-2 weeks. No call no show receives no refund.
